5 STARS - Rated the BEST Arlington Heights Chiropractor Team

What is Spinal Stenosis

Spinal stenosis most commonly occurs in the neck or lower back. It can develop when the openings in the spine where the spinal cord is located become narrow. This narrowing can be due to a herniated disc, arthritis, postural changes, spinal misalignments or thickening of spinal ligaments.

Our Arlington Heights chiropractor team treat an array of conditions. We have successfully offered patients help with spinal stenosis for over 35 years. Serving Arlington Heights, Mt Prospect, Rolling Meadows and surrounding suburbs since 1981 First Health Associates’ Center for Integrative Medicine is proud to offer our patients an effective, non-surgical spinal stenosis relief.

If the openings in the spine become too narrow, the spinal cord becomes compressed. This can create pain in the back, buttocks, thighs, or legs that worsens when standing or walking. It can also cause numbness, tingling, muscle weakness, muscle cramps, or balance issues.

If it occurs in the neck, it can cause similar symptoms in the neck, upper back, shoulders, arms or hands. The pain can be debilitating. Fortunately, our Arlington Heights chiropractor team is specially trained to provide highly successful spinal stenosis treatment options that don’t involve surgery.

The symptoms of spinal stenosis can also be due to misalignments of spinal vertebrae and poor posture. If the spinal vertebrae are not lined up, neither are the openings for the spinal cord or nerves.

Non-Surgical Spinal Stenosis Treatment

Our Arlington Heights chiropractor team is trained to effectively treat the symptoms and address some of the contributing factors to spinal stenosis and other muscle, bone and joint maladies. If you are experiencing symptoms of spinal stenosis, our chiropractor team may have the solution to fix the problem. Through spinal adjustments and other techniques, our experienced chiropractors can help realign the spine and improve posture to open up the passageway for the nerves and spinal cord. In many cases, this reduces compression and irritation resulting in significant relief.
