Courtney Day
, MS
With a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and hospital experience in cardiac and pulmonary rehab, Courtney has the back ground to enhance not only athletic performance but overall system function and personal endurance as well.
Philosophy: "Limitations exist only within the mind!" Courtney's role model is Jillian on the TV Show the Biggest Loser, so be prepared for leaving our facility knowing full well that you've just finished the work-out of your life. "Personal satisfaction and progression come with knowing your limits and pushing just beyond. The job of a good trainer is to recognize your personal limitation and give you a little shove that will help you reach new heights in your athletic endeavors."
Personal Fitness: After sustaining an injury that shortened her recent marathon preparation, she switched to training on an elliptical machine. The result? She became so addicted to elliptical machines that she is now fondly referred to as the "Elliptical Queen". Come-on a female trainer? Be careful men, she has been known to challenge her male clients in a contest of One-Armed-Push-Ups!
Before the Largest Loser: Courtney was both a high school and college athlete. Her loves are volleyball, softball and rugby. She is currently on staff at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital where she specializes in pre and post-surgical cardiac rehabilitation.
Aimee Weber, BS, ACSM-HFS
With a degree in Movement Science and Nutrition from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and previous experience as wellness coordinator (and personal trainer) at Lake Forest Health and Fitness Center at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, Aimee provides a unique approach to weight loss and fitness. She specializes in helping patients with orthopedic limitations still achieve a good workout and develop a very high level of personal fitness and health. She has also workded with a variety of patients which range from cardiac rehab, pre/post natal classes, to professional athletes--so be ready for anything!
Philosophy: "If it's in your heart, your mind and body will follow." Aimee believes that any health and fitness goal is achievable. Whether you are looking to lose 200 pounds, or if you just want to feel better when you wake up in the morning, Aimee uses exercise as medicine to help you get there.
Personal Fitness: Aimee has been a competitive athlete for most of her life and excelled as an elite softball player in her younger years and competed in competitive fitness contests more recently. She says "now I'm finally in a place where my fitness is about me, not my sport or my team. Now it's just about being and staying healthy."
Before the Largest Loser: Aimee joined the Largest Loser team after a storied campaign of developing a metabolic wellness program, pre/post natal program, and cardiac rehab program at her previous job. By combining education, dedication, and experience with her passion for helping people achieve their health goals, she has been a great addition to the LL team.

Tom Jordan MS, RD
A Certified Personal Trainer by the American Counsel of Exercise (ACE), Tom doubles as a Registered Dietitian and chairs the Nutrition Department at First Health.
Philosophy:“Movement burns calories!” Expect to be doing functional moves with Tom that challenge not only your muscles-but also your heart, lungs, and balance. Most importantly, he feels training should be fun. “Regardless of your goal, the most effective exercise is the type you enjoy doing.”
Personal Fitness: Tom was a basketball player by nature and still plays for fun but now focuses on running marathons instead of fast breaks. He has completed ten marathons with a personal best time of 2:55:56. "I've gotten faster each year and I have no plans on slowing down any time soon."
Before the Largest Loser: Tom grew up around farms, played football and collegiate basketball, served a few years in the Army, received his BS degree in dietetics and has recently completed a research study on the effects of amino acid supplementation on endurance athletes for his Masters Degree in Clinical Nutrition. He’s now a dedicated marathon runner. So he tells his team members—“be ready to shake things up!"
