Nearing the Finish Line
As we near the end of our 12 week journey, our participants are still pushing themselves along through week 11. Everyone is eagerly working hard and awaiting the final results as to who will be crowned the Largest Loser next Saturday! To highlight- Mary and Jason both put up a strong 3.4# weight loss while Carol heard Tom ring in her weight starting with the number 1!! Susanne and Dan posted up a proud 2.6# and 2# weight loss respectively. "Our participants continue to put up impressive numbers each week both with the weight they have lost and the weight they put up in the gym!!
Nutrition Notes
This week, Tom talked to the group about plateau busters!! What do you do when you hit that wall and feel like you can't look at another treadmill or vegetable without exploding!?! The trainers agree that you need to stay focused on your goals and stick with it!! Not seeing results on the scale?? "Try something new!! Attend a group exercise class at a nearby gym (most likely will cost you under $10), buy a workout video to do at home, GO OUTSIDE and exercise!!" Courtney exclaims, "Your body will love you for treating yourself to new moves and a new environment." Exercise not the problem? "Same guideline applies to food" Tom adds, "mix up your menu, look for new healthful recipes and explore the grocery store!!

Participants are hitting the weights hard in the gym during week 11 with their trainers, while Courtney ramps up the cardio on Saturday with her Last Blast Cardio workout!! "It was bittersweet to train this group for the last time on Saturday. I love to see the energy this group brings every time and as the saying goes, they don't ask "how high"...they just JUMP!!" Everyone has on their mind, what do I do next after Largest Loser? Tom and Dr. Paul gave the low down on life after Largest Loser and all the different programs we have to offer to them. Remember, just because the 12 week program is coming to and end, doesn't mean that diet and exercise ends as well. This is a lifetime commitment to your health!
