The Track 2 Success
We love it when Track 2 leads the “weigh” by showing up the Track 1. Cheryl, Art, and Pat blasted the rest of the field this week by posting 4.4, 2.8, and 3.8 pounds respectively! Track 1 still had some action this week though which included Cliff’s 3.4# and Bob’s 3#.
The statistical anomaly continues? It is now 4 weeks in a row in which It Starts with Us has had a member gain weight but remain on track 1. Events beyond the scope of this challenge led to a missed weigh in this week by team members who were granted manual use of their pass. Consistent with our protocol not to make eliminations retroactively, this effectively results in no Track 2 promotion for this week. This keeps It Starts With Us in the running for a chance to tie the streak for longest team to avoid a Track 2 promotion which was previously set by Dr. Nick’s “Triple Threat.”
In other news: Your 34# weight loss this week brought your crushing through the 100# mark for a total of 118 pounds lost!
Nutrition Notes:
Tom reports the same story—he’s impressed. Most everyone has been exhibiting a very high level of not only understanding the Nutritional Guidelines of the program but proving they are able to incorporate it into their daily regimen. And those who haven’t been able to lock in are working hard to get to that level.
Exercise Notes:
Trainers switched things up this week as Dr. Joe and Tom incorporated a higher level of cardiovascular work into the team workouts while Courtney hit the group workout with more strength work. Personal Training focus is beginning to shift to individual goals as trainers now have a very good feel for what each participant enjoys and what they are capable of in the gym.
Behavioral Notes:
Katrina is not working intensively with many of participants in this group, however she did have a chance Saturday to review each person’s progress with our training staff and add insight to assist both individual and overall goals of program participants.
Side Notes:
Communication is key! Please feel free to provide us with feedback on any aspect of the program you would like us to address. We crave constructive criticism because we believe it’s the building block for improvement. Thank you for all comments thus far and please—keep them coming!
