When it comes time to choose a medical provider what do you look for?

We wanted to know, so in 2004 we conducted a broad sample patient satisfaction survey. We found out what our patients expected. Then we began the process of reinventing ourselves and our services. Today every First Health clinician and staff person is committed to meeting those expectations. We’ve made a pledge to deliver to each of our patients: |
CONSERVATIVE CARE
Make no mistake, we practice Traditional Medicine, but we do it in a conservative manner. The theory behind Conservative Medicine is first and foremost the avoidance of surgery, and secondly we use the least toxic medication for the shortest duration possible. Plus, if you are a candidate for the other alternative care options we have available our doctors will discuss that with you.
COMPLEX TO EVERYDAY CARE
The doctors and therapists at First Health can effectively handle everyday injuries and illnesses, but it's the patients suffering from chronic, lingering complaints that have experienced the best results. A team approach by various disciplines working together using a variety of treatment options is really what the doctor should be ordering.
INTEGRATIVE CARE
Integrative Medicine is defined as “combining conventional medical care with various alternative therapies.” First Health is a leader in the industry and one of Chicagoland's most respected integrated care clinics. Each of our providers will discuss viable treatment options available for your condition, affording you the opportunity to be as conservative or as aggressive as you'd like. At First Health you truly do have a choice.
COMPETENT CARE
Quality care starts with quality providers. We hire only the best and brightest physicians and therapists. It's our
commitment to provide our patients with the most conservative and effective medical and alternative care solutions available.
COMPASSIONATE CARE
You'll know your providers and they'll know you. We call this Compassionate Medicine. You won't be shuttled into a room and left waiting for hours only to be seen for a few minutes and then rushed out the door with a prescription never to be heard from again. We first work to get you better then we work to keep you better. A visit to a First Health practitioner is the way patients should be treated . . . that's Compassionate Medicine.
"Well done is better than well said."
