Dr. Nick’s interest in health and fitness began when he was a member of the Cross country and Track and Field team at Wheeling High School. He went on to attend Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.
In the fall of 2002, Dr. Nick began his journey to becoming a chiropractic physician at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. After completing his first year, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology. Dr. Nick held a teaching assistant position for the Chairman of the Department of Nutrition and Biochemical Therapeutics. He graduated from National in December of 2005 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. His teaching assistant position paved the way of becoming a faculty member at National University of Health Sciences
Dr. Nick is a Certified Chiropractic Sport Physician by the American Chiropractic Board of Sport Physicians. He is also a Certified Golf Injury Specialist and has been trained to diagnose injuries through golf swing analysis. Dr Nick is a continuing education instructor at School Districts 211 and 214 teaching the golf conditioning and spinal rehabilitation courses. As a member of the Arlington Heights Runners Club – “The Arlington Trotters,” he discusses the management and prevention of common runner-related injuries in their monthly newsletter.
Dr. Nick is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He personally trains individuals of all fitness levels at the Wheeling Park District Fitness Center. He also volunteers his time coordinating the track workouts for the Arlington Trotters at Harper Community College.
Dr. Nick’s running experiences include finishing a 50-mile ultramarathon. He is in the midst of training for the Ironman Triathlon in Madison, Wisconsin this September.
